3. API Usage

• You must use a valid API key for all requests
• API keys are for your use only and must not be shared
• You agree not to exceed rate limits or abuse the service
• Automated scraping or bulk downloading is prohibited

4. Credits and Billing

• Credits are consumed per API request as documented
• Purchased credits do not expire
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

5. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, nutrition data is provided "as is" without warranty. Data is sourced from USDA and Open Food Facts databases. Always verify critical nutrition information from authoritative sources.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware or engage in hacking
• Resell API access without authorization

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may cancel your account at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Food Facts API is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
